Crimson Feature of the Month: Financial Summary Dashboard

The Financial Summary Dashboard in Crimson gives campaign and PAC teams a clear, centralized view of their invoice and payment activity. Whether you’re managing payees, approving expenditures, or reconciling accounts, this dashboard is your command center for financial operations.

A Complete View of Your Finances

The dashboard provides a real-time overview of invoice data and connects directly to the Reconciliation tool and Payment Request module, three powerful components designed to simplify financial workflows and reduce administrative friction.

At the top right corner, the Dashboard Navigation Bar gives you quick access to:

  • Payee Search

  • Invoice Search

  • Expenditure Search

These tools help you quickly locate and review transactions without leaving the dashboard.

Streamlined Financial Actions

Key financial actions are just one click away with the Dashboard Action Buttons (1), including:

  • Pay Invoices

  • Payment Approval

  • Transfer Funds

By selecting a fund code in the Open Invoices by Fund Code (2) bar graph or clicking the totals in the Open or Paid Invoices cards, you can instantly generate search results tied to those figures, making it easy to follow every dollar.

Reconcile with Confidence

The Reconciliation tool allows you to track which transactions have cleared the bank and identify any that have not within a selected time frame. To use the Reconciliation tool, you need to record Expenditures and Other Receipts by using the correct bank account codes associated with them. By recording Expenditures and Other Receipts with the correct bank account codes, your reconciliation process becomes faster, cleaner, and more accurate.

Find the Reports You Need

Immediately under the Reconciliation Tool, you’ll find the Top 5 Treasury Reports that you use for ease and convenience.

All Your Financial Tools in One Place

The Financial Summary Dashboard brings everything you need to manage your committee’s finances into one easy-to-navigate space. By combining real-time invoice data, quick search and action tools, and powerful reconciliation and reporting features, it streamlines daily financial operations and improves oversight. Whether you’re processing payments, tracking expenditures, or closing out a reporting period, the dashboard is designed to give your team clarity and control every step of the way.
